Direct Out is pre-fader, but POST-FOH-mute by factory default. Internal surface mount modification (not a jumper) changes DO to be Post fader.
There are multiple EDAC 56-pin connectors, carrying various audio input and output channels. Each EDAC is the same size multipin connector as used on an ADAT EDAC (aka ELCO), but the wiring appears to be different. See the manual page 66. Please confirm!
The manual (pdf p. 66) shows one "Inputs" EDAC as carrying "Mic In 1-8" and "Direct Out 1-8." A note then says "This wiring pattern is the same for all input EDACs."
The "Mix & Masters" EDAC is shown as carrying "Mix Out & Mix Bus Injects, Master Out & Master Bus Injects," ie. Mix 1-12, Master L-C-R.
The "Group and Solo" EDAC is shown as carrying "Group Out & Group Bus Injects, Solo Out & Solo Bus Injects" ie. Group 1-8, FOH L-C-R, Mon AFL, FOH PFL.
Insert is pre-EQ, FOH switch makes insert post-EQ. Matrix out on XLR. Buss out on XLR.
